Guidelines for Journal Publishers
Meta Life Journal Impact Factor (MLJIF) follows a structured evaluation framework. Journal publishers are requested to carefully review the following guidelines before submitting their journal for evaluation.
1. Eligibility Criteria
- The journal must have a valid ISSN (Print or Online).
- The journal must have an active and accessible website.
- At least one complete issue must be published and publicly available.
- Editorial Board information must be clearly displayed.
2. Information Accuracy
- All submitted information must be accurate and verifiable.
- False or misleading information may lead to rejection.
- The publisher is responsible for maintaining transparency.
3. Editorial & Review Practices
- The journal must follow a defined peer review process.
- Review type (Single Blind / Double Blind / Open Review) must be declared.
- Editorial contact details should be clearly available on the website.
4. Ethical Publishing Standards
- Plagiarism policy must be publicly available.
- Retraction and correction policy should be defined.
- Conflict of interest declarations should be encouraged.
- Copyright and licensing information should be clear.
5. Required Documents for Submission
- Latest Published Issue (PDF Format) – Mandatory
- One Additional Recent Issue (PDF) – Recommended
- Editorial / Publication Ethics Policy Document (PDF) – Recommended
- Proof of ISSN Registration (if available) – Optional
All documents must be submitted in PDF format. Incomplete submissions may delay the evaluation process.
6. Evaluation Process
- Submission does not guarantee approval or indexing.
- Preliminary screening will be conducted.
- Evaluation is based on MLJIF composite weighted model.
- Estimated evaluation period: 2–4 weeks.
7. Post-Evaluation
- Approved journals will receive an MLJIF composite score.
- Indexed journals will be listed on the official MLJIF website.
- Evaluation validity period is generally one year.
